Desi Adda: Quiz & Party ("the App") is developed by Akshat Vaidya. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to provide the app experience:

• Authentication data: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email, and profile photo. Guest players are assigned an anonymous ID.
• Game data: Quiz scores, match history, coins earned, and gameplay statistics are stored to provide leaderboards and progress tracking.
• Device information: Basic device identifiers for crash reporting and analytics.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide multiplayer matchmaking and game rooms
• To save your progress and match history
• To display your name and profile in multiplayer matches
• To improve app performance and fix bugs

Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication — for sign-in (Google, Apple, anonymous)
• Firebase Realtime Database — for multiplayer and match data

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided personal information, please contact us to have it removed.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account directly in the app by going to Settings → Delete Account. Alternatively, you can request deletion by emailing us at akshatvaidya@icloud.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
